A. Cấu trúc:

S + said (that) + S + V (lùi thì)
S + told + O + (that) + S + V (lùi thì)

B. Quy tắc lùi thì:

Present Simple → Past Simple
Ex: "I like science." → He said (that) he liked science.
Present Continuous → Past Continuous
Ex: "I am studying." → She said (that) she was studying.
Past Simple → Past Perfect
Ex: "I went there." → He said (that) he had gone there.
Will → Would
Ex: "I will help." → She said (that) she would help.
Can → Could
Ex: "I can do it." → He said (that) he could do it.

C. Thay đổi đại từ và trạng từ:

I → he/she
we → they
my → his/her
here → there
now → then
today → that day
tomorrow → the next day
yesterday → the day before

D. Said vs Told:

Said: không có tân ngữ
Ex: He said (that) he was tired.
Told: có tân ngữ
Ex: He told me (that) he was tired.
